Louis Orozco is in a league of his own when it comes to influencing the world of hair fashion design.
Whether he’s styling models for Fashion Week, celebrities for premieres, magazine covers or creating fabulous new looks for his clients, Louis’ signature work always comes shining through. He clearly draws his design inspiration from art, science, architecture and nature.
Designer's Touch ... From Undone to Statement Structure.
One might describe the exquisite beauty of ‘Orozco Hair’ as 'electric'. He loves luxurious blends of color and light, multi-textures, shape and brilliance that inevitably turns heads. His 'finished' hair often has a relaxed, undone look … not too contrived … editorially natural and fresh.
On the fashion flip side, Louis can get dramatic on the details when more statement structure and definition is called for in designer collections or fashion photo shoots.
Finding A Healthy Balance ... Fashion, Fitness & Family.
As an artist, educator, salon owner and serious athlete, Louis works hard to live a healthy balance of excellence and achievement. He is proud to have worked on several teams styling commercials for Victoria’s Secret and Cover Girl, print campaigns for Prada, working with celebrities and models for American Vogue, Vanity Fair, and W magazine, and styling various shows in New York and Los Angeles. This includes styling for Fashion Week collections for Oscar de la Renta, Tom Ford and Michael Kors as part of the famous Orlando Pita design team. Louis even managed to carve out time to participate recently in the powerful 'Ironman Triathlon'.
Along the way, Louis has initiated several strategic alignments and partnerships with legendary industry giants like Oribe, Jean Louis David, Bumble and bumble and L’Oreal. Having trained and worked in Italy, France and the U.S., Louis continues his editorial and educational work with Oribe Haircare as a member of the prestigious Artistic Team.
Louis is perhaps most happy, however, when ‘back home’ working on his clients (and surfing near his incredible Newport Beach loft). Educating and inspiring his son, Stone, who works alongside him is what Louis calls ‘being home with family’ … where he’s most relaxed and creative. ‘Family’ also means the lovely presence of his sister, Jeanine Fong, whose role as Madison Salon’s Executive Director means effective and hands-on oversight and management of the salon business. At Madison, it truly is all about family!
